Emily has a Master of Science in anthrozoology from Canisius College and a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington. She’s a certified professional dog trainer and graduated with honors with a Certificate in Training and Counseling from The Academy for Dog Trainers. She’s also a certified Fear Free Animal Trainer and a member of Fear Free’s Speakers Bureau.

This webinar will:

  • Define what decompression means for other animals and why it’s important
  • Describe how to know when your pet needs to decompress/recover
  • Demonstrate specific strategies to help your pets decompress/recover (such as creating distance from triggers, “decompression” walks, scent games, etc.)
