Meghan Morrissey is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed addictions counselor who integrates equine interactions into mental health therapy.  She has her B.S. from Fordham University, achieved her MSW from New York University, and completed the Post-Masters Certificate in Equine Assisted Mental Health from Denver University.  She also has her PATH CTRI and works with Miracles Therapeutic Riding Center in Lafayette, CO.  

Meghan enjoys direct practice with clients, but also enjoys research and has maintained a faculty appointment at NYU Child Study Center, where she co-authored a manualized treatment entitled Reining in Anxiety.  She has also published numerous articles on the topic of equine interactions and mental health.
